MD44 HEALTH SERVICE BOARD

The Health Service Board meets the 4th Tuesday of the month. Dinner is at 6:30p.m. at the
Airport Diner, Brown Avenue, Manchester. Meetings are open to all Lions.

 

The Multiple District Health Services Board is a Multiple District 44 Committee formed for the purpose of:

·   Being the go-between for the NH Lions Multiple District 44 Council; the appropriate State agencies and foundations; and the

Lions Clubs of New Hampshire.

·   Gathering statistics, on an annual basis, of the health oriented projects by the clubs throughout the state.

·   Supervising the operation of the NH Lions MD-44 Eye Clinics and NH Lions MD-44 Operation KidSight, The DogSight Project, Hearing/Vision Equipment and Vision 200X.

VISION and HEARING TESTING machines for Lions Club use within schools and
communities.

·   Maintaining a list of representatives from each club in the State of NH

·   Investigating possible new health related projects and making recommendations to the MD-44 Council of programs and/or fundraisers which will benefit the Lions and residents of the State.

The Multiple District Health Services Board consists of: 3 appointed members from each district;44H District Governor, 44N district Governor,IPP Health Service,2 Equipment Coordinators, NH Lions Eye Clinic Coordinator (3 year term), Operation KidSight Coordinator (2 year term each), and the Multiple Council Chairperson
