Reading is Fundamental (R.I.F.) Our Reading is Fundamental project is giving away free books to the students from kindergarten through the fifth grade at least three time.  (One of our best projects each year.)

International Peace Poster Contest with posters made by students at the Hillsboro-Deering Middle School.

We recycle eye glasses and hearing aids all year long.  We have drop off boxes at the Post Office, OSRAM/Sylvania and the American Legion.

We also distribute Lions Mints which may be obtained in several locations in Hillsboro.

Project “Penny Power” underway to help renovate Hillsboro Food Pantry. Please drop your loose change into the containers located in almost all businesses.  Your change does make a difference!
