CLINICS
The Multiple District 44 Health Services
Board operates two monthly eye clinics in Manchester
and Concord, NH.
These clinics are made available through the partnership, generosity and
support of the Catholic Medical Center
in Manchester, the NH Association for the Blind
in Concord and N.H.
Opthomologists and Optomitrists
Associations. People who cannot afford
the cost of an eye exam may apply to their local Lions Club and, if accepted,
will be scheduled for a free eye exam at one of the two clinics. If glasses are needed, the Lions Club can
provide them for a nominal fee through a local LensCrafters. If surgery is required and the local club is
unable to assist with the cost, the Lions Club can apply for a grant through
the Sight and Hearing Foundation. Contact Joanne Pouliot for dates and times.
