The Amherst Lions raise funds and carry out services activities.
Fund Raising Events:
- Pancake Breakfast on Palm Sunday
- Local area Telephone Book
- Craft Fair in December
Service Activities:
- Pay for eye exams and glasses for needy Amherst residents
- Pre-school eye screening
- Support juvenile diabetes research
- Support for F.I.S.H. (local transportation for shut-ins)
- Purchase large print books for the Amherst Library
- Distribute Christmas Baskets for the Amherst Women's Club
- Boy Scout sponsorship
- Support S.H.A.R.E. (local charity organization)
- Anti-drug abuse support
- Sponsor local Leos Club
- Support NH Sight and Hearing Foundation
- Support the Lions International Foundation
